On mayo 25, 2025, a Moms Across America supporter, Jennifer Berman Diaz, reached out to Bob’s Red Mill with a pressing concern: high levels of glyphosate residues were detected in their gluten-free flour.

Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide in the world. However, due to hundreds of independent studies linking it to cancer, neurological, nervous system, liver, kidney, and reproductive damage, its use has been restricted or banned in over 60 countries.

USA Nationwide Call for a Ban of 86 Pesticides That Have Already Been Banned in Europe and Other Countries

en China, Europe, and other countries, regulatory and elected officials have had the wisdom, based on science, to ban 86 agrochemicals that are not banned in the USA. Historically, in the USA, our EPA has cherry-picked studies from the pesticide industry and ignored independent studies and epigenetic studies. The EPA also does not require long-term animal studies with blood analysis on any final formulations for approval of any agrochemicals. That means the pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides that are being applied to our animal feed and food crops have never been determined safe for consumption. In fact, many countries around the world have found them to cause or contribute to cancer, infertility, and many serious health issues, and have banned them.

Through policy advocacy and grassroots campaigning, Center for Food Safety (CFS), Moms Across America and many other U.S. organizations are fighting back against a coordinated, industry-backed campaign threatening decades of hard-won protections from pesticide exposure through simultaneous efforts at both state and federal levels.

In memory of Arthur Firstenberg (mayo 28, 1950 – febrero 25, 2025)

I first read Arthur Firstenberg’s book The Invisible Rainbow: A History of Electricity and Life in 2023. While its detailed and often disturbing information was sometimes difficult for me to take in, the book provided refreshingly clear insights into the mysteries of human health and disease. Firstenberg’s descriptions of the illnesses induced by Man’s electric technologies resonated with my own experiences, observations, and research. I found the book’s explanations and evidence of harm to be compelling. I began exploring the website of Firstenberg’s organization, Cellular Phone Task Force, and I signed up for his Substack newsletter. A few months later, my brother and I co-led a small book group discussion on The Invisible Rainbow, delving deeper into the contents and their implications. As I learn more about the topic of EMFs and health and make changes in my own use of technology, I keep returning to this groundbreaking book as a resource.

Moms Across America is dismayed for our farming community and American citizens. Four months after Brazil approved GMO wheat, the USDA has quietly approved GMO wheat for growing in America. No doubt due to heavy lobbying by Big Ag, GMO wheat may be on the market within a few years, without labeling, in our food supply.

Moms Across America applauds the timely response of the new administration’s FDA to the urgent safety and reliability issues surrounding baby formula, Operation Stork Speed!

While breast milk is best for development and supporting the immune system, and should be more widely supported with longer paid maternity leave policy changes, there is a large portion of American babies whose only source of food is baby formula and the safety and nutrition of their food should be a high priority.
