febrero 22, 2022, Asheville NC.,- A hearing opposing the Asheville city employee vaccine and testing mandates begins today, febrero 22, 9 am ET online. Lawfirm Lakota R. Denton and Associates filed the appeal to the mandates and loss of employment on behalf of five city employees, including frontline firefighters. 

The firefighters have decades of combined years of service to the community of Asheville. Counsel is seeking reinstatement of the firefighter's positions and back pay. This hearing, which is likely the first in the nation regarding this issue, is expected to be held from 9 am ET until 12 noon, reconvene at 2 pm until 5 pm on febrero 22, 23, and 24th. Expert witnesses and firefighters will testify.
