A: Arise Bakery, ‘white bread,’ in a dedicated GF bakery in Arcata California
the baked goods are made with love by women who have been abused or trafficked. It can be found in the freezer case at Whole Foods, or visit the bakery for more variety. It is gluten free, organic and vegan, with hearty sorghum, tapioca, millet, golden flax, olive oil, cane sugar, yeast, xanthum gum, applle cide vinegar and salt. Their dark bread tastes like rye but is GF. The buns and bread become soft when toasted or warmed, like most GF breads.
